The First Minute of a Trans Live Chat
Open the site on a phone or a laptop; it runs in the browser, so there is nothing to download. Before your first call, the browser wants permission for the camera and the microphone. Grant it once and it stops asking.
Choose who you want to meet and press start. Within seconds a match loads with both cameras live. Both cameras have to be on at that point: yours must be running before a match is made, and the person you meet is held to the same rule. A feed with no face in it is one to report.

Questions Before You Say Hello
Do I have to be trans to chat here?
No. The people you are matched with are trans, and anyone who treats them with respect is welcome to meet them. Respect is the condition, and reports enforce it.
Is it rude to skip someone after a few seconds?
No. Moving on is part of random matching, and the other person can do it too. A quick hello before you tap Skip is a kindness, not a rule.
Do I need a headset?
No. The built-in microphone on your phone or laptop works, since the browser asks for it together with the camera. Headphones help in a noisy room, or when your speakers send the other voice back as an echo.
Can anyone else watch or join our conversation?
No. A call has two people in it and nobody watches live. When one of you files a report, the moderation team receives that moment with its evidence.
What do I need to register?
Our Privacy Policy lists a mobile number or an email address, plus your city, gender and name, depending on the device you use. Registration comes after your first few chats.
Will I meet someone again after I block them?
No. Once you block someone, that person does not come up as your match again. Skip is the lighter option: it just moves you on without a wait.
Can I choose to meet only trans women, or only trans men?
That is the job of the preference. It decides who you meet inside the trans pool, and you can change it between calls or in the middle of one.
What if the browser never asked for my camera?
Then the camera was probably refused once before. Open the site settings next to the address bar, allow the camera and the microphone, and reload; until the camera is live, no match can start.
